Deutsche Wein- und Sommelierschule (DWS)

With over 30 years of experience, the German Wine and Sommelier School (DWS) has established itself as the leading national center for the highest level of wine education. Annually, around 600 qualified wine and gourmet experts graduate from the school, equipped with a Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) certificate or the coveted titles from the public law advanced training examinations Sommelier and Sommelière.

Since 2012, DWS has expanded its training repertoire to include the recognized curricula and examinations of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET®), lending the courses additional international recognition.
