With different levels of certification on offer, Champagne Education courses are aimed at everyone: from the beginner to the confirmed professional, there’s a level of certification and training for everyone. All our training programmes are complementary, and at each level of certification, you’ll deepen your knowledge of Champagne through varied, fun content.

As a professional, the online and face-to-face courses offered by the Champagne Education will give you a comprehensive understanding of the wines of Champagne, enabling you to advise your customers more effectively on a daily basis. If you are simply an individual Champagne lover, taking these courses will enable you to benefit from lessons given by Champagne experts.

Take our Champagne Specialist course and develop your knowledge of tasting and oenology. Whether you are a sommelier, a professional in the hotel/restaurant trade, a wine shop manager, a bartender or are changing careers, this course will provide you with comprehensive knowledge of Champagne: tastings, practical workshops, food and Champagne pairings, etc. 

To register for a face-to-face course, you can use the map of our partner centres to find a centre near you. You can then register directly with the partner school, either on their website or by contacting them by telephone or e-mail.

To offer high-quality training, delivered by expert professionals and enabling you to taste a wide range of Champagne wines, we have decided to charge a fee for our face-to-face courses. Our courses are aimed primarily at current and future professionals in the wine and Champagne sector, but are open to everyone. If you’re a wine lover and want to acquire solid skills on Champagne wines, you can follow our training courses, which could be the start of a new career for you.

Yes, our face-to-face courses include tastings of different Champagne wines to familiarise you with their diversity. These tastings will give you a better understanding of how the terroir and the way Champagne is made influence the style of the wines produced by the Winegrowers, Cooperatives and Houses of Champagne.

You can take our face-to-face courses in several cities in France and abroad. To find one near you, take a look at the map of our partner centres. This network of partner centres is expanding rapidly, and we recommend signing up to our newsletter if you want to keep informed about new partner centres delivering our training courses.

We offer face-to-face "Champagne Specialist" training in all our partner centres. Other training courses on Champagne wines will be offered by these partner centres in the future. 

The Champagne MOOC is available in French, English and Japanese. The English version offers the option of subtitles to the videos in the following languages: Chinese, English, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. To choose either version, click on the English or French flag on the home page, and then follow the registration process.

In the English version of the course, simply click on the "CC" button at the bottom right of the video to choose the language of your subtitles: Chinese, English, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.

The statement of completion of the Champagne MOOC is available in the Premium version of the course. All you need to do is obtain an average score of at least 80% in the exam contained in the Advanced module. At the end of the exam, if you achieve the required minimum score, you can download your statement of completion in PDF format.
